Win a New Bike!
The Top Pledge Raiser will win a NEW bike from our partners at Bicycle Sport Shop.
The Colin’s Hope Kids Triathlon is a non-competitive event for kids ages 5 – 15. No experience is necessary. A triathlon is a swimming, cycling and running event. Participants are divided into age group divisions based on their age and waves based on gender. The swim is a pool swim with lane lines and lifeguards. The bike and run course are contained, protected within the Lake Pointe subdivision. All participants receive a finisher’s medal, T-shirt and “swag” bag. There will also be age-group awards and prizes for top pledge raisers.
The event is limited to 400 registered participants. The events usually sells out quickly.
New! While this is considered a non-competitive event, this year we are offering an Elite Wave. This is for experienced participants that have completed several triathlons and would like a more competitive environment. The Elite Wave is limited to ages 9-15. Awards to the top three finishers, no age-group awards.
Rookies, Juniors, and Seniors registration is $50 per athlete. Elite Wave registration is $75 per athlete.
Our goal and mission is to raise awareness and funds for swim safety and drowning prevention. While pledge raising is not required, we encourage ALL of our participants to raise a minimum of $75, the cost of Colin’s Hope sponsoring one (1) child in our pre-school swim safety program.
