To participate in Colin's Hope Kid's Triathlon, your child must have a current valid USAT membership license.  Membership sign up is quick and easy.  You can have your membership number in just a few minutes by visiting the USAT Membership Online Applicaion.

Once your child has his/her USAT membership number, you may continue registration for Colin's Hope Kid's Triathlon.  If you are unable to complete your USAT membership at this time, the $5.00 membership can be purchased during package pick up on Saturday, September 18th, 2010. 

Particpants who already have their USAT membership should bring a printout of their membership certificate to package pickup for verificaiton.

Transfer/Refund Policy

Please note, the event could be delayed by severe weather (i.e. fog, lightening, rain). The Travis County Sheriff’s Department will advise the Race Director of weather that could delay or cancel the event for the safety of the participants, volunteers, and local traffic. That decision would be announced on site over the loud speaker, via the race website, e-mail, or phone.

The only reason the event would be delayed or canceled is for your safety because of weather concerns or civil emergency. There will be no refunds for cancellation of the event. T-Shirts and Goodie Bags will still be given to participants.

Additionally transfers are prohibited as well. If someone else races under your name and is injured, or causes an accident, that person will not be covered by any protection typically afforded to an athlete through the USA Triathlon sanction and insurance.

The Colin's Hope Kid's Triathlon will make every effort to have a safe event. Thank you for your understanding of these policies and we appreciate your participation.
 

Release and Waiver Claim

Parents please read carefully before signing and dating the Release and Waiver Claim

I, the undersigned, do hereby and for my heirs, executors, administrators, successors and assigns release, acquit and forever discharge Colin’s Hope and its Board Members, Directors, Volunteers and affiliates, Lake Austin Lake Pointe Home Owners’ Association Inc., Travis County, City of Austin and City of Bee Caves, and their agents, employees, servants, successors, heirs, executors and all other persons, firms, corporations, associations or partnerships of any and all claims, actions, cause of actions, demands, rights, damages, costs, loss of service, expenses and compensation whatsoever, which the undersigned now has or which may occur during such time or times that I, my child or ward (circle one), (print name) _____________________________________ may participate in the Kids’ Triathlon listed above sponsored by Colin’s Hope, Lake Pointe Home Owners' Associaiton Inc., City of Austin and City of Bee Caves and its Parks and Recreation Department, and operated by their employees, agents or sponsors; or during such time or times that I may be in the company of such employees’ agents, carrying out their duties in the course of their official rules.

The undersigned also understands that photos, video or other recordings of their child/ward may be taken at this event to be used in future publications of Colin’s Hope and on its website. The undersigned enters into this agreement knowing that he/she waives any recourse or cause of action against Colin’s Hope, Lake Pointe Home Owners' Association Inc., City of Austin and City of Bee Caves, their Parks and Recreation Department, their agents, employees, servants, successors, heirs, executors and all other persons, firms, corporations, associations or partnerships that he might have resulting from any bodily or personal injuries and property damage, and any consequences resulting from any accident which might occur, or be caused by the negligence or gross negligence of Colin’s hope, Lake Pointe Home Owners' Association Inc., City of Austin and City of Bee Caves, Travis County, its Parks and Recreation Department, and their agents.

The undersigned has read the foregoing Release and Waiver of Claim and fully understands it.
